Dh's birthday is next week and I'm out of ideas. I don't want to buy him more clothes. Any suggestions to make it extra special. I've taken the day off |
C'mon, you have to know the answer to this. |
You can do extra special for free and doesn't require shopping, usually, but requires a lock on the bedroom door. |
I guess the day to day rut has gotten me ( kids, home, job). Looking for fresh ideas |
Didn't post this in the explicit board, for a reason. |
Plan a dinner out, get a sitter. When you arrive at the restaurant, he is pleased to see some of your friends are joining you. |
Sort of love a mini-surprise party. |
Meant like -- not love. |
If that was explicit to you... then buy him a neck tie... men love neck ties. |
For my husband bday, I got three of his buddies together (without him knowing), and bought everyone tickets to a wizards game. This was a Friday. When he came back home, I surprised him with a babysitter all weekend and I booked a fancy hotel for us. We had a great weekend just being together, eating out, movies, bars and sex!!! |
Sheesh, poor guy married a ouritan |
I do agree that for most men, some fun in the bedroom is going to be the most important way you can make his day special. Maybe you guys can do something that helps you both feel sexy: would a couples massage do that for you? would a picnic in bed with wine do that for you? would a hotel room do that for you? While you want to think about what he'd like, my sense is that most men want you to feel loving and sexy and would gladly go along with whatever is going to help you feel that tingle... |
Most men are quite that simple. When we're hungry, feed us. When we're tired, give us rest. When we're horny... Dr. Laura knows. Also, most women are almost as simple, with a few adders. |
Yeah, but the answer is the same, no matter where you post it. |
