24. Went to a good school, am in shape, think I am a nice person? Have never really even had a boyfriend. Sitting here crying into my wine seeing all these posts on Facebook of my friends' roses, fancy dinners, etc.
Just sucks. |
Step #1: Get off DCUM and get a life. Unless you're a troll trying to drum up some attention, no self-respecting 24 year old should be on here. Go volunteer, join a team or read a book. |
Valentine's day sucks. Period. Sig other or not.
Stop looking for someone and just do you. |
You are a baby. You are just fine. Try online dating.
And have FUN. Travel, read, work out, go to great restaurants. Go with your friends, or alone, or on good dates, or on bad ones! Love, Was a 27yo virgin who is now married with two kids and loving life, but missing single days sometimes |
Almost everyone I know met their SO after the age you are now. You are very young...no need to worry. |
oh stfu. you are nasty. |
I think that post wasn't meant to be nasty, just trying to give some good advise to get off the computer and go do some things were you might meat a man |
I think she wants a man to "meat" her... |
24 years old, college educated. You probably have guys hitting on you day and night. Seriously, what's the problem? |
haha, thanks for being nice about the typo!! so many people are so nasty on here. |
Omg ur still young! Don't worry about finding the one now! Live it up! Be on your own for awhile it's nice to be independent before you settle down! Didn't find mine until I was 28. |
You get me. Thank you PP. |
Online date!!! I was in your shoes. People say you are young but I get it, you aren't looking for marriage (yet). Just a boyfriend. Get out there and online date. That taught me about what I want and who I am. I met my husband online. We have three kids. I was 25 when I met him, 27 we got married and 28 had first child. |
You and a girlfriend need to go into Georgetown or Old Town and have some fun.
24 is (or at least should be!) a fun age. This is the time of life to be free and enjoy being free. Live it up girl. Before you know it you'll have a baby on your hip while you push your oldest in the swing. The days of picking up and going where/when you want to will be over. |
NP Really? Nothing nasty in those suggestions. |
