But all things aside, while the pure and raw emotion the pp cites below is about becoming a new parent, I don't think there is anything particulary new or well written in the lyrics to that song. It's a song full of cliches, without anything particularly new or interesting happening from a lyric construction POV.

Is that really all necessary in this thread? No one is impressed that you think someone is a "POS" and therefore judge other peoples music preferences because of it.

I'm not trying to be hostile, I get that music speaks to different people differently. I only mentioned that part about him being a POS cause I said that made me more likely to criticize, not to try to convince you. The title of the thread IS 'best song lyric' I'm just putting my opinion out there.
