How would you style Hillary Clinton?

How old are you that you think 30 is middle aged. Average life expectancy for a woman is about 90. A woman is an adult at about 18, so that's 72 years of adult hood. The middle section of that adult life is aged 42 to 66. Or if you think adult age starts a bit later, then a bit later.

Wow, apparently we're all the olds. 30 is middle aged, who knew!

Yep, welcome to the group that some millennials want “to die already.”

This!

This thread is stupid. No one would ever start a thread about to "style" Bernie or Trump or any man.

I don't know, I think there is a lot to how you are visually perceived in a powerful role. She looks frumpy, so does Bernie. Obama looks good which increases confidence. I am sure there are studies out there about this. You rarely see obese frumpy people running large companies, that probably isn't a mistake.

I sort of agree. People do talk about how th men dress (remember the endless debate about Al Gore's earth tones?). The way to have your agenda be the topic of the conversation, rather than your clothes, is to play it safe. I would dress her in navy or black pant suits with jewel tone simple shirts. Fashion is for First Ladies....Presidents should dress like bankers or lawyers. I think they're dressing her like a rich lady who goes out to lunch with friends or to fundraisers. I'm a big HRC supporter, but I wish they would make her look more like a President and less like someone's rich grandma.

Agree with this. Navy, black and classic outfits with simple lines. Jewel tone shells and shirts with simple, classic gold or silver jewelry. Lose the boxy pantsuits and Neru jackets.

I don't mind her garanimals wardrobe of pant suits. However, I would drop the one where she matched the blue lions. That carolina pant suit.

Talbots all the way.

Just dress classic.

+1 But I'm still voting for her. Even as a criminal, she is better than Trump.

LOL! I'm a contemporary of Hillary's--guess that makes me REALLY old! As for her appearance, I've always thought she had very pretty coloring and an attractive face and smile. She always looks especially good in red or blue. I can see why she wears pant suits and wish she could lose a few pounds. Not sure if she gets enough exercise and thought she looked really tired towards the end of her Secretary of State travels. Honestly, I don't think she has much to worry about when compared to Trump. For all his wealth, one would think he could find a better hair colorist and stylist! I kinda like the way ole Bernie looks--he's appealing in his own way!

But I'll trust the team that Trump puts together a lot more than I'll trust Hillary's people.

I am voting Trump. Hillary can enjoy that orange jumpsuit and lots of leisure time as far as I'm concerned.

Even if you slice it your way, she's still older than middle aged. She was middle aged in the White House and in the Senate and even as SoS. And I think she's looked great the whole time. But she's older than middle aged now.

21:40 here. +1 For sure.

But look at Meryl Streep or even Helen Mirren's skin compared to Clinton and it's obvious that Clinton especially recently is showing a lot more wrinkles and loose skin. I think a facelift would have helped with the concerns about her age. (Well, initial concerns about her age, she seems positively youthful now compared to Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump - haha).

Are you kidding me? She clearly has at least one face lift before 2007 primary - many people commented on that. It was a good one and I wonder who her surgeon is. She also uses a lot of fillers around mouth. I am sure she uses Botox also.

I think she looks great for her age and has even lost some weight. She dresses better than she used to.

I agree with this. Keep it classic and simple, and less expensive imo. Simple, dark-colored, well-tailored pant suits without all the high collars and overly long jacket lengths. I despise the older lady helmut hair look, so I also wish she would let her hair grow a little longer and wear it simply, without the shellacked poufery. If I were the person in charging of pulling her wardrobe and doing her hair, that's what I would encourage. I wouldn't want her to think about it--she has more important things to do!

She should look DAMN good wearing $12,000 Armani jackets.
But, remember, she is all for the middle class!
