Some friends of ours and us are going to a water park this weekend without kids! I couldnt be more excited, but i have no idea what to wear. With the kids I'd wear dorky water shoes and a bathing suit/shorts/skirt, but i feel like I need to step it up with adults only! Any advice? Shoes specifically! |
Bathing suit/shorts/t-shirt.
I wouldn't buy water shoes, but if I had them, I'd wear them. |
Flip flops |
Maybe my flip flops are old, but when they get wet, they get so slippery! Maybe its time to upgrade? |
I have cheap old navy ones and better quality crocks- I like the crocks better b/c they don't get slippery. But with cheap old navy ones I don't have to worry about them walking off with someone else. |
Summer dress over the bathing suit. |
I'd probably just go with flip flops! Do you have any nicer / more adult styles? |
would you wear the dress while on the slides? |
Bring a healthy dose of penicillin! |
Athletic skirt with tankini top. A summer dress would not be comfortable when wet, and a bikini top would shift on a slide. Athletic sandals like Tevas. |
I would just wear my regular bikini |
Probably best to have at least one tattoo to fit in as well. Laugh now but you'll agree after going. |
I find this post to be hilarious since I was the one who posted a warning about people STEALING flipflops at water parks (not talking about the local ones at regional parks but at the very expensive water parks in places like Williamsburg). A waitress at the restaurant we went to the night before went out of her way to warn us about this problem and so we decided to wear our worst pair of flip flops. We bought our kids water shoes so that they wouldn't have to remove their shoes. |
Do you have a rash guard? That's what I'd wear, but I sunburn very very easily. |
