Does anyone know of a good bootcamp in the area they can refer me to?
TIA |
crossfit alexandria is somewhat like bootcamp but much harder. Golds Gym on richmond hwy has a kettlebell class that will make bootcamp seem like a slumber party. I have a friend who takes a bootcamp class at george mason middle school that she loves. it is very early in the a.m. good luck |
I've seen early am boot camp at Fitness First in Seven Corners. Also Bally's on L St in DC, I remember seeing ads for Boot Camp when I used to teach there last summer, and it is pretty popular. You don't have to be a member either, you just pay $8 per class. I've never tried it though. You can probably find more on craigslist. |
Check out the seargents program at Norwood Park in Bethesda. |
I don't know where you live, but I do Fit4Moms which meets at the Falls Church Community Center. It's owned by a mom and the workout is terrific and super hard. The best part is that she has a sitter for the kids so you can bring them with you- They have a playgroup right in the gym there with you so you can also keep an eye on them. It's also fun to be with other moms...
I am a gym rat and was seeing no results- I've been doing this 3-4 X/ week since the holidays and have been getting noticeable results... The website is www.fit4moms.com |
