Looking for great seafood five star restaurant in the Maryland Virginia area any suggestions?
Thank you, |
Not Phillips! Tourist trap. So disappointed. |
The best seafood isn't typically at five-star restaurants. |
Yeah this. Best is probably and on the dock shack in Annapolis ( there is one on the Severn rijverd, can't remember the name, only takes cash.) Otherwise any of the traditional high end restaurants in DC and get something fresh. |
Cantlers Annapolis . |
DC is not a Michelin star city. A friend from boondocky NH bragged about going to a 5-star restaurant in her Facebook! I think they were from Yelp. facepalm |
I think OP means 'five star" in the generic sense. Even if DC were a Michelin city, Michelin only goes up to 3 stars. WaPo goes up to 4 stars.
OP, the consensus in DC for seafood fine dining is Fiola Mare, in Georgetown. |
OP here ended up at Eddie V’s in Tysons corner food and service very nice will go back |
Good to know. Thanks for reporting. |
Yes! This is what I was going to say too!! |
Not the subject but the best quickie fish sandwich or meal is fishnet in college park. It's so unique and awesome. |
I have been wanting to try Eddie V's. I heard that they also have good burgers. |
The best fish sandwich in the world is Horace and Dickie.... But I digress.
Try grilled oyster company for good seafood. |
I've eaten there a few times and have been unimpressed. Got one of the worst crab cakes of my life there. |
