How to accessorize this dress

Anonymous
I am attending a 6 p.m. wedding at a resort in Sedona, AZ next week, and I bought a blue and white 'fitted' knee length sleeveless dress. The pattern is navy and cream circles (sounds weird but actually fun and pretty cool), but I don't know how to accessorize to dress it up a little. I have a cream colored wrap, or a red or bright pink scarf. The red and pink scarves seem a little too strong though. Perhaps the cream wrap and a fun colored shoe? How about jewelry? Could I wear a silver pearl necklace and bracelet? Or would that look odd next to the pattern (the pattern of circles covers the whole dress).
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!

I like the idea of the cream colored wrap. As for jewelry, it would depend on the type of neckline.

Would a yellow high heeled shoe work with it?

I'd do a bright colored shoe--even pink or red would be fun. It will be cool in the evening there, so the cream wrap is a good idea.

It's hard to say on accessories without knowing how "formal" the dress is. But it's Sedona, so I would keep it more causal/fun/funky.

Is the resort Los Abrigados?

If you're taking kids with you and have some time separate from wedding activities, try to have a breakfast or lunch at the Sedona airport--it's on top of a mesa and you can sit outside and watch the plans take off and land. There's also a nice park down the hill a little bit from the Airport as well, I can't remember the name of the street though. Definitely drive through Oak Creek Canyon up towards Flagstaff, too. It should be beautiful right now, and less crowded than during the summer.

Large circles? Small circles? This is hard without the whole picture, which includes such things as your hairstyle, the neckline, your build, etc.

The dress sounds pretty busy, I would let it do all of the talking! Keep it easy on the jewelry, cream wrap, and maybe a color shoe, but make sure it meshes with the navy. Do you have a great red heel?

Cream wrap, not the color. Simple earings, pearl or diamond stud (fake fine) and I would do silver strappy heels. Gold would be ok too.

I agree with the PP who said -and w/o a visual we don't know- that the dress sounds busy enough. I wouldn't do too much with accessories.

I agree on the cream wrap if it is a busy pattern. Busy dress, simple accessories. Simple dress, bolder accessories.
