My dining table only sits 4 people comfortably and we are 8 for Thanksgiving....

What should I do? I do have 2 extra chairs and 2 bar stools, but they can't all be accommodate at the table. Should I do buffet style or what? I would prefer if we could all sit down around the table... Have you rented table/chairs for this kid be of thing, even if it is not for a party and huge gathering? If so, any suggestions of places where I could rent this? If it comes with a table cloth even better...

I'm in NoVa if it makes any difference...

I have rented before but found that it was ridiculously overpriced for what amounted to a folding table and chairs. I would borrow or buy a six or eight foot folding table and borrow the extra chairs you need. I saw some decent folding chairs at Costco for $20 each if you think you might host again.

Rent a table and chair or borrow a card table and two more chairs. Don't make people sit on bar stools. You can rent a table for like $10. You can rent a table cloth too.

Brooke Rental center in Arlington is good. You can google for others.

Buy or rent a card table with chairs. Put on a table cloth.

You probably know someone you could ask to borrow a folding table and four folding chairs. Don't cram everyone around a small table, and don't make people sit on bar stools.

How old are you? As an adult, barring special circumstances, you should get yourself a table that can accommodate at least 8...

A folding table is not too expensive. I'd ask around if you have friends who entertain. I have two different folding tables and 6 folding chairs I pull out for parties. I'd be happy to lend to someone if I wasn't hosting.

Folding table with a nice cloth tablecloth.

Or a separate kids table.

You'll use it plenty over the years.

Target, Walmart or Costco should do. Buy a card table and some folding chairs w/ table cloth. Not expensive.

Not everyone can afford a space big enough for a huge dining room table. Especially in this area.

Look at some of the rental places that focus on tools. They have tables and are less expensive. We rented a table from Rental Works on Lee Hwy in Arlington, VA for Passover a few years back. http://rentalworksarlington.com/

A folding card table at Target is $30. Black folding chair at Target, $10. I don't see why rent, but buy a card table and a couple of folding chairs. Keep them under a bed if storage is a problem.
