Gift for Eid Celebration

| We are invited to an Eid celebration at a friend's home. They have 3 children. Is it appropriate to bring presents for the children? Or do you give money? Should we bring foods? This is our first Eid celebration/invitation and I'm not familiar with the customs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA |

| You don't really have to bring anything unless you want to. I guess, presents for the kids would be appropriate if these are your close friends, otherwise just a cake, or pastries should be fine. |
