OP here...ok my point....I was sitting here reading the off topics, nothing really exciting or making me smile, I look at peoples faces when I great them during the day with a "how are you or hello" and a smile and most of them dont smile back, just maybe mumble a "HI", the cashier at the grocery store, just seams to be upset, while dumping my groceries in the bag, the person behind me keep breathing hard, because there is a hold up at the counter etc.......
That was just questions I was asking myself...everybody just seams to be frustrated and anoyed with the daily life and really dont care about the person right next to them.....So since Life is allready complicated enough why not think of something what could make us smile......

Totally counts.

1. The simplest thing that makes me smile...hm...it's really little stuff like the color of a tangerine. I think it's great and uplifting that there is profound beauty in the world.

2. I would say very, in the grand scheme of things.

3. Kindness and/or empathy

4. There are a lot to choose from. Right now I'll go with the squirrel spread eagle on the side of a jack o' lantern eating it.

5. Hmm....I talked a very distressed woman down once.

I wonder how much money she got from the deal...

I think with everything that I paid for, I came pretty close to breaking even (possibly even losing money) from being a surrogate.
I know there are women that charge $10K-30K for being a surrogate, but I did not. It was never about the money, it was about helping someone build a family.

1. Hearing my children laugh.

2. I would say I am generally very happy. I try to always have a smile on my face.

3. Respect and kindness.

4. I have seen so many funny things in my life... After reading the spread eagle comment, it made me think about an evening out in college (after a few too many beers and probably jello shots) when my best friend and roomate spotted the Papa John's delivery truck. She proceeded to jump in the open window head first and got stuck in there with her legs high up in the air spread eagle. We were so much trouble...

5. I work with kids so I feel like there are many kind things that I've done over the years. I just try to see the best in every child I work with. To connect with children and make them feel loved and cared for is one of the greatest gifts I believe you can give a young person.
