Jenner wants to be a drag queen, not a woman. Real women don't have glam rooms.

Indeed.

Biologically her sex is male. Her gender is female. I was pointing out that being the pronoun police does nothing to garner tolerance as some people will still see her as male - which biologically she is. Remember sex is different from gender. So ... whatever you want to believe about me is fine but you are wrong.

This kind of statement always makes me very depressed. If Jenner's gender is female, I guess mine must be male because I am nothing like her. I don't think of myself as male, but I must be. Maybe I need some therapy to help me accept my true gender.

A great basic resource in understanding the different between gender, sex, orientation, attraction, and expression is here:

I am so glad I don't have to live my life looking at a chart like that and taking it seriously. Or worrying about what pronouns to use or if I'm going to insult someones special snowflakeness or not.

It must be exhausting walking around everyone else's eggshells all the time.

I think she looks hotter than Kris!

I find it interesting that he did not get "bottom" surgery as part of the sex change, but got all the other surgeries that old women in hollywood undergo in search of eternal youth.

Are you a woman if you still have a penis though? Does putting on a dress and declaring yourself a woman really make you a woman? So i'm wearing jeans so now i can be a man. Im a man! No, I change my mind, I'm a woman. No, a man! No, a woman. All very hard to understand.

It's a hard decision for trans people. If you have surgery on your genitals, you lcan ose some sensitivity and sexual function.

Makes sense. So she is officially a woman now.

So be glad. Don't be a dick.

I read a gay message board (Datalounge) and there was a lengthy discussion on there about whether or not BruceCaitlyn simply had a fetish that had gone too far.

The reason many of these gay men believed she was not a true transgender person is that Bruce (in his interview with Diane Sawyer) was adamant that he was "heterosexual" and not a lesbian. Also, he claimed to enjoy hetero sex.

I think that he is just a cross dresser - a man who loves to get Glammed up.

I think Kris's reaction also proves this. She knows him best and she seems very surprised by this transformation but she gave him a pass on the cross dressing.

Would u mind directing me to the right thread? DataLounge is always so hard to navigate unless you keep up with it

Stole this from data lounge:
I'm Gay and care about Lesbians, yes. Sure they're different, as women and men sometimes are; there are things I love about lesbians, there are things about some of them that may puzzle me or even be fodder for good-natured amusement; but I like them, decidedly, and they are homosexuals, and have that solidly in common with gay men.

The B contingent - well the men are part of my club when they're sucking dick or holding their boyfriend's hand, and likewise with their women counterparts. The rest of the time Bs are something else: straight, or fucking annoying ("Ideally I'm looking for another cool bi-guy..." Why? so you can jointly think about pussy while sucking dick?)

The rest of the alphabet, fuck them. They don't have a goddamned thing to do with gays, lesbians, or homosexuality; they contribute not a goddamned thing; and they actually rob gays and lesbians by further dividing an allegiance that was already a nervous one to various degrees and various times. Now any man who wants to say he "identifies" as a woman can chop off his junk, grow some titties, and learn all about heavy-duty facepaint so that he can can fuck women -- but not in some weird lesbo, way, or anything. Ts are vain and troubled attention whores who thrive on being perpetually offended. But they don't have even one tiny thing in common with gays or lesbian, not one. They're a diversion at best, a drain on resources, and a real fucking test of patience.

^hmmmmm, thank you. That's interesting, as a bi woman myself who increasingly thinks she might be gay, I definitely can identify with what he's saying. Especially when we've fought so hard for so many years to get the world to stop seeing gender as binary
