It's cold out there and I am grumpy

Admit this is a vent. I am so tired of this weather. When is true spring going to come?? What are you doing to stay sane?

Me too.

50 degrees and sunny is cold?

I think it's rather pleasant and quite typical for a winter/spring transition.

Me too. I'm tired of my winter wardrobe. I'm tired of having the kids come inside with runny noses. I'm tired of running the heat in the house and still huddling under a blanket.

What am I doing about it? Griping about it online. Not much else TO do, I guess.

I'm looking forward when all you moms start taking your shoes off...

We do, even in winter. When my 2 year walks into the kitchen, he says "shoes off". He knows the rules

I'm with you OP! I'm so to put my winter coat in storage already! I can't wait for 70 degrees and up. I wish I could move DC 300 miles south and 3000 miles west.

Pure schadenfreude. I am sitting here on a lounge chair in Florida (spring break)reading a post about the cold weather in DC. Sorry, I know I will have to come home in a few days, but in the meantime this post made me smile (guiltily).

Gaaaah, I know! I am 24 weeks pregnant, in my honeymoon trimester, no time to really take a meaningful trip to enjoy the warm weather now since I have to burn all of my time off to try and pay myself through a reasonable maternity leave, and by the time the weather turns, I will be more pregnant and less likely to want to get out and enjoy it! Whaaaaa!

I have a sexual foot fetish & nothing gets me more excited than seeing women wearing flip flops.
