Health Insurance for Nanny

| Do you provide health insurance for your nanny? If so, how much does it cost? Where did you get it? Any help on this would be GREATLy appreciated. Thank you! |

| I provide health insurance for my nanny. We get it through Kaiser. The price for an individual of her age (42) is about $249/month. That is for one of Kaiser's better plans where the co-payments are low (I think she pays $10 or $20 for a vist). She is thrilled with the coverage since she never had coverage in the past. She also said the centers are very clean and nice, the doctors are helpful, etc. The plan pays for prescription coverage as well with a co-pay. If you look on Kaiser's website for individual coverage you can get the details. If your nanny is younger, the coverage is even less expensive. |
