I just bought my first pair of suede boots and would like to treat them to protect against rain and ice melt stains and damage. Can anyone recommend a product for this? Are they all the same? Apologies for ridiculous question. I cannot believe that at 34, I have never owned suede footwear before!
several companies make a suede water repellant spray. The ones by UGG, Scotchguard, and Kiwi are some of the better ones
I just got a spray from Amazon by scotch guard brand. You just spray it and it waterproofs them...it was like $7 and prime shipping
Saphir is the best shoe care product brand. They make a suede protectant that waterproofs and doesn't have chemicals that might break down the nap of the suede. Most brands of shoe polish contain bad stuff to make them shine more. But, they destroy the leather. Saphir makes quality waxes and pastes that are good for the leather. I assume they do the same for suede.
