What do you brag about?

That dd can speak in complex sentences and isn't even 2. AND she was a preemie.

My dog is the best- she's perfect! (and I have 2 kids but I don't like to brag about them)

My two teenagers. They are great kids.

haha
Good for you!

My consistency at the gym. Takes a lot of discipline with my busy life but I'm proud of myself.

One through college in four years while working 2 jobs, one set to finish in four while working and playing on the school's golf team. Younger kids are very polite and well-mannered and we got compliments about that when we're out with them. Of course, I sometimes have to respond "you might not say that if you saw them in action at home!" LOL

If you were comfortable, I would look at you very strongly and wonder why you could not help your kid in college. Two jobs and a full load it a lot.

I was just bragging about how I had a new pimple and a new gray hair on the same day. Same day! It was awesome

You are kidding right? The kid has learned discipline which is a valuable life lesson

Kudos, and wishing many many more Years for you

I would think the parents care more about themselves than their kid. If they could afford it, I would think selfish not valuable life lesson. One job, fine but two is a lot. I would also think, poor kid cannot rely on parents who just want bragging rights.

I brag that we bought our 2bedroom house in SW 2 years ago. And that it's already doubled in value. I don't fancy myself a real estate person, but I feel like dH and I made a good move. And now we are dc homeowners! Something I thought we'd never be able to afford on our salaries.
I also give shout outs about my husband. He's awesome.

I wish I was you. In the spirit of the season, though, I will say "Yay" for you. Lucky lady.

I brag about DH to friends when they ask about specifics, that's the only thing I feel comfortable bragging about.

I wish I could brag about my educational and career accomplishments... First in my family to achieve what I have, and from a family that gives little recognition for it. Sometimes I just want to so bad, just to know what it feels like lol, but I know it would be in bad taste.

I don't like to "brag" per say because I feel that those who brag tend to be very insecure than most people in general and bragging makes a person look extremely insecure.
