Hi, I'm going to post this into several fora because I'm not quite sure where it belongs:
Does anyone know of a caipoera studio in the area? I am convinced DS would love it (he's 3.5). Thanks! |
What a great idea! I bet my super-active DD would find it fun, too. I think I've seen one on Florida Ave. NW, near LeDroit Park. But no clue if they offer children's classes. |
OP here. Thanks 22:22. I do think it would be really fun/educational/challenging for DS. I think he'd have a blast. I'd done some research last year and had found one in DC, but can't find it online anymore. Maybe it's the same one you've mentioned. You wouldn't remember the name by any chance? |
I think Roda Movements in Takoma Park has Capoeira for kids. |
thanks zumbamama! i'm the one you also just gave info on zumba. you're becoming my info go-to source ;o) i'll look into roda. crossing fingers. |
OP here again. I just went on Roda Movements website and they do have classes for toddlers. Yipee! Thanks again for the feedbacks. |
cool! They have Zumba too! |
22:22 here. I don't recall the name of the place on Fla Ave, unfortunately. But glad that Zumbamama came through. Maybe we'll see you at Rhoda movements! |
OP Here. Thanks 22:22. Since we're in Silver Spring, Roda will definitely be a good. Might take samba classes there as well, or better yet to shed some baby lbs off, some zumba classes! |
