Outer space themed birthday party

Anonymous
I am looking for a birthday party venue for a 5 year old boy. He is very into all things related to space exploration. Has anyone been to/held a party that would fit his interest in space?

I don't want to have a party at our house.

I'm not 100% sure what they have going on, but you could try the Planetarium or Air & Space Museum.

I don't think you can hold parties at Air and Space or Goddard. Do you mean Rock Creek planetarium? Doesn't look like they do birthdays either. Are there other planetariums?

The Science Center in Baltimore has a planetarium.

The Baltimore Children's Science Museum is great ://www.mdsci.org/facility_rental/Birthdays.html. If this is too far you can look into renting a Starlab planetarium. Its pretty cool and our preschool brought one in for the kids once. No idea if the pricing is reasonable for b-day parties or not, try googling starlab kids or children.

Washington Lee Highschool in Arlington has a planetarium. I went there for field trips when I was a kid.
