do you put your address in the parent directory?

I have a pk3 kid. Just wondering if most parents include their address in the parent/school directory or if more people just put their phone number and email address. I wasn't sure what to do. Thank you!

I put ours in. I see no threat in listing it.

We put all our info in. Also for PK3.

This day and age means everyone can figure out how much you paid for your house so I didn't.

All they really need is your name and city. Plus, who cares since everyone can find out everything?

Why on earth does that bother you?

Yes, I put all our info in. New K family.

FWIW, in our upper NW preschool of about 100 kids, I think only one or two families did not list their address.

Yes.

OP here. Thanks. I added our address to the directory, so hopefully no one comes along here with a really good reason not to list it! Haha.

We're at a charter, so I was hoping that putting my address would help me connect to others in the neighborhood.

Don't flatter yourself - nobody is going to go out of their way to check how much little Timmy's parents paid for their McMansion. I think you're in the clear.

Sure makes it easier to do play dates and figure out car pools.

We use parents' emails to send evite b-day party invitations but real snail mail addresses to send home thank you notes...so don't be surprised if you non-listers don't get any!

When you don't, you look like an address cheater.
