Indoor floor plant for darker room

Anonymous
What type of floor plant (of the live variety) do you recommend for a darker guest room? The room in question has windows that are shaded the majority of the time (front facing, close neighbors), so the room gets some light during the day, but is definitely a darker room than most.

Any plants that are OK in these circumstances? I've tried a few tropicals (Home Depot tags promised ease of care and indirect light, but...no).

Thank you.

Snake plant or plastic/faux plant.

Another option is to rotate a plant with one you have in a sunny room. Plant gets one week in guest room, one in a sunny room, and repeat.

Zamioculcas or the ZZ plant. It loves shaded windows. I have it in a bright room and it's dying and it's brother in a rom with no light and that one is thriving. They are not cheap but hardy, no maintneance and grow one stem a year or so.

I do this. I also put them outside on a nice day like this (not in direct sun) to occasionally get some good sun before the weather turns bad.

PLASTIC?

Please, just no. Try a nice Rubber Plant, and it will clean the air.
