I don't buy Sabra (has adopted the Golani Brigade known for its human rights abuses against Palestinians see http://www.jpost.com/Defense/Strauss-reposts-IDF-support-commitment-on-website) or Tribe hummus (works with the Jewish National Fund which builds/has built trees over the ruins of ethnically cleansed Palestinian villages inside Israel and leases its land only to Jews). Have refused to buy their products for years.

There is an excellent app called Buycott, available for both Android and iPhone. It showcases many causes, not just Palestine-ISR You can use it to scan a product, it will look up the product, determine what brand it belongs to, and figure out what company owns that brand (and who owns that company, ad infinitum). It will then cross-check the product owners against the companies and brands included in the campaigns you've joined, in order to tell you if the scanned product conflicts with one of your campaign commitments.

What's it like being Muslim? Well, it's hard to find a decent halal pizza place and occasionally there is a hashtag calling for your genocide...

I tried the buycott app. It's nice in theory, but I don't understand why some products are included. Why is Coca Cola so bad?

Sabra is majority owned by PepsiCo and Tribe owned by Nestle and kraft. Good luck with that BDS BS.

If you are going to boycott Israeli products, make sure to boycott Israeli technology, including medical advances. In fact, boycott all jewish medical advances...and all jewish technical advances.

You realize that you are suggesting that all Jews should be held responsible for Israel's actions. If I had said that, I would be accused of anti-Semitism. You may want to rethink this post because I believe it contributes to anti-Semitism.

I think it was more of a pro-Israel remark as shown here, so many life saving medicines and modern technologies are israeli-invented. So good luck boycotting without you raptors, medical actions, and green technologies (among others) http://livinginisrael.info/if-the-world-boycott-israel/

Of course it was meant to be pro-Israel. But, you can have it both ways. Either Jews and Israel are the same thing or they aren't. I've spent a lot of time over the past few days supporting (mostly) Jews who say they aren't.

So if it's pointless to try and boycott Israeli products, how should I "put my Money where my mouth is" and do my little part to feel like I'm offsetting/not contributing? Donations to un Palestinian refugee orgs? I hate that billions of dollars go to support an Israeli govt which oppresses gaza and I want to offset.

Yes, donations to palestinian organizations help a lot. Most of them are not allowed in Gaza though, so you have to do your research to see which ones are present on site in Gaza currently, donating to those will help a lot at least for basic necessities like food, medicine, ect.
