Looking for Child Psychiatrist Who Specializes in Working with Special Needs in MD

| I am looking for a good child psychiatrist who specializes in working with kids with special needs. I have a 7 y/o son with DS and some behavioral issues and I think he may possibly be experiencing some depression, too. We see a really good developmental pediatrician for the behavioral issues and have just started with a behavioral therapist but I feel like there is still something else going on that the developmental pediatrician isn't addressing. We live in the Rockville area but could travel further to see somebody good. Thanks. |

| We see Dr. George Capone at Kennedy Krieger. He heads the DS Program there and is also does a lot of DS research. We have been really happy with him and he has a great research coordinator who is really responsive to calls and emails. |
