Handbag looks tired - get it cleaned at Fortuna's in Bethesda, or do it myself?

| I have a nice Marc by Marc Jacobs handbag that looks tired but is otherwise in great shape. The light gray leather is slightly dingy looking in spots. Can I just clean it up myself with Apple Brand leather cleaner/conditioner, or should I bring to a handbag repair place (like Fortuna's in Bethesda)? Thanks. |

Generally, Branded handbags needs the quality products for cleaning or else it may damage. A marvelous collection of handbags is available in the market, which are in both branded and un-branded. As per our personal interest, WE can choose any of them.

| If you want to clean it yourself, check out http://forum.purseblog.com/ . There's a lot of people there rehabbing and fixing old or worn bags, and there's a Marc Jacobs forum to search. I've fixed a few handbags myself, but always look there and research a little online since the way you do it really depends on the type of leather and finish. Good luck! |
