Any competitive sports being played do you personally 1-talk smack & 3- take smack talk by others to you to serious(weather you talk it back or not)

Back when I played pickup basketball, whoever was guarding me would trash talk sometimes. I didn't like it and didn't reciprocate, it kind of made me mad and motivated me. I was always the short guy (5'9) but quick who had a good outside shot. When I was draining the shots the trash talk stopped.

Ultimate Frisbee takes heckling to serious heights. In DC all of the experienced players have played together on various teams and have a tremendous sense of camaraderie. The heckling from the sidelines in ultimate can be brutal (but in a friendly sorta way ).

I don't understand this question. Presumably almost none of us play competitive sports. I did, but that was 15 years ago.
