This has been a very weird cycle. I ovulated for sure, earlier than normal (I'm charting). My temps were above the coverline but on day 9 of my luteal phase I got my period. I was dissapointed but ready to move on but the thing is that my temps are still high (well above my coverline) and today is day 16 of my luteal phase and I still feel that my breast are tender and I've been " feeling pregant" with nausea and sensibility to odors. What this could be? Is all in my head or you can have your period and still be pregnant? It is the first time that my temps do not drop the day I get my period and my breast is still tender and full. Should I call my doctor? |
are they usually sore when you are pmsing? if so, then it may be pms, but if not, you may be preggers (that was the first sign for me).
Take a pregnancy test and find out. |
take a test, and repeat in a few days if it comes out negative. i would wait for doc only after your pg test comes out ++. good luck! |
I would guess that you are not pregnant, as you can create symptoms in the nervous energy that everyone has when trying to get pregnant.....but you really should just take a test. You can have your period and be pregnant. You also could have had a chemical pregnancy. May as well take the test and find out! Good luck. |
I am not well-versed in charting so I don't know how typical/atypical your patterns are, and I don't want to instill a false sense of hope, but it's possible your "period" could've actually been implantation bleeding. Or you could've had a very early miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy. Like a PP said, you might as well test and if negative, repeat a few days later. A home pregnancy test is a very small price to pay for peace of mind. Good luck and I hope you get the results you want. |
I never charted and know nothing about temps, etc. However, the way I knew I was pregnant was that I got little blue lines on my breasts and they were extremely tender with both pregnancies. They also ballooned up pretty quickly.
I also had a false negative preg. test with my first because I took it too soon. A week later the test came out positive. I, too, hope you get the results you want. |
Could you be having implantation bleeding?
Anyway, I echo PP and say take a pregnancy test. Good luck!!! |
I second that, could be implantation bleeding. OR It could be a chemical pregnancy... so two possibilities on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Take a pregnancy test. If it's negative, take one again (remember 18 days of high temps after ovulation is usually the indicator of being pregnant). If things are still weird after those 18 days, call you doc |
You could be pregnant. I had my "period" on time, but breast were very sore. I went to doc b/c I thought I had a breast problem. Turns out I was 6 weeks pregnant. Happen with my 2nd child too. My doc told me 20% of pregnant women have a "period" for a few months into the pregnancy. I thought I was having a miscarriage at 8 weeks with first, I bled again at the time my period would of started. Go take a pregnancy test. Good luck ![]() |
