Best toys for gnawing on (5 month old)

Anonymous
My five month old loves to put her things in her mouth, naturally. She also gets frustrated pretty easily by most toys as she has trouble getting a good chomp on them. I know this will continue to improve as she gets older but was wondering what toys your babies were most easily able to mouth. She has sofie, an oball, some teething rings and a few other options but I am looking for any other suggestions.

It not hard, but my DD loved the LaMaaze book "Peekaboo Forest." It has crinkly fabric pages that she spent hours chomping on.

The Nuby teether shaped like a hand was a huge hit with DS.

Like another PP, DS loved chomping on anything that made a crinkly noise. He loved that book, as well as these toys http://www.amazon.com/Lamaze-All-Ears-Elephant-Developmental/dp/B006I0R9AK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1392340176&sr=8-1&keywords=lamaze+elephant

He also liked these when put in the freezer (and at 14 months he still prefers to chomp on them rather than put them on a boo boo)

He didn't start liking Sophie or teething rings until he was older.
