Has YouTube improve your life?

Would you say that your life is better now--in any sense--after discovering YouTube?
Anonymous
Yes. I can watch snippets of things I am interested in easily and for free.

In regards to education? Tremendously. I play guitar. SO many good tutorials out there. SO many videos where I can watch the fretboards and learn to play a song.

Sometimes when I have a song stuck in my head I just go to YouTube to watch/listen to it.

I find workout videos there all the time on days I"m too busy to go to the gym

When I'm having a tough day, DH will look up videos of funny/cute animals for me and send me the links to cheer me up.

Yes, if I suddenly remember a scene from a TV show I saw when I was young chances are there is some other nut out there who found it warranted being posted online.

+1 to this and all of the above. When DS was a toddler and preschooler, he liked to watch surgery videos on You Tube. Before he was fully verbal, he'd cry, "More beating hearts! More beating hearts!" to get me to show him another cardiac surgery video. (He also loved cataract removal, but that was too gross to watch with him.)

Your kid sounds like mine! My kid's favorite shows were the medical ones, especially the ones with the weird diseases. We had to cut him off when he kept thinking he had them. LOL.

The other night we had an evening of dancing and singing to old music with my roommates from college. Most fun we have had in a while, thanks to YouTube.

my spouse is a (well regarded) doctor and seriously has learned/reviewed some medical procedures on you tube. Some rare ones that he hadn't done since residency, and ones where there were new variations. says it is much more useful than just reading about it in a text book (and they are put out by medical schools etc)
