Toddler Discipline Books

Can anyone recommend one they like?

I would say were are in the "firm but kind" camp. Opposed to spanking but not opposed to punishments when appropriate (like time outs, loss of privileges, etc.)

Our DD is a little young still (9 months) but is already starting to test boundaries and I want to respond appropriately without ignoring or condoning bad behavior.

Thanks.

Discipline, the Brazelton Way, by T. Berry Brazelton.

The Discipline Book by Dr Sears. I like the way they break it down into very developmentally appropriate ways of responding. Young children's cognative abilities really change a lot so it's so helpful to read from that perspective- so you don't expect too much from them too soon.
