Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody had experience with KidStop Child Development Center near Shady Grove metro? I did search the archives, but couldn't find much on this one. Thanks ![]() |
I'm afraid I don't know much about this one, but the Kindercare on Crabbs Branch is great, and very close to this one, in case you are just looking in that area.
They seem to be owned by the same global parent organization -- Knowlege Learning -- but I don't know if that means they follow similar curriculums. |
Also looking for feedback on KidStop.
I generally like the facility and the staff seems ok, but I have some funny vibes... I know the director/ass't director recently changed, and they seem good, but when I recently went on a tour, 3 kids were being pushed around in a buggy. The director would push them into the office and they were just sitting there while the director was doing something in the office. One of the babies was an infant, and he was crying hard but the director wouldn't pick him up and said to me that he always wants to be picked up and cries if he is put down. I guess she was "training" him, but I wouldn't want my child to get pushed around in a buggy stopping in random places and not get picked up after crying hard for so long. My son is 2 so I don't have the same concerns as I would with an infant, but would really like to talk to some parents with kids there. |
I can't help the original poster, but I'm looking to tour KidStop this week so I'll add my request to anyone out there that may have some insight to this center! Thanks in advance... |

Does anyone have experience with KidStop?
Seems some folks were looking at it last year? Did anyone send their kid there? Thoughts on it? |
It is owned by the same folks who own Kindercare. I never had a child there (mine's at Kindercare), but if Melissa is still the director there, I liked her very much when she was assistant director at Kindercare. |
Thanks! |
Hey, I know there is not a lot out there about Kid Stop - we just started and we love it - for what it's worth. |
