Lost my mother to it, lost my stepmother to it, lost my mother in law to it, and now my sister has metastatic breast cancer to the brain. Ugh!! I just hate this and feel so angry and powerless!!! |
I'm so sorry. |
OP, I'm so sorry. That's a lot to handle. |
I am so sorry |
My dad is expected to die in 2 weeks. A week ago, they said he'd be just fine. I will have lost both parents, a brother, and a sister to cancer, leaving me with one brother who is locked up in a rehab facility in Hawaii. I'm tired of cancer. |
OP I am sorry. Cancer is brutal and everyone suffers. I lost someone I loved to cancer and it just ravaged their body. It was so painful to see them go through this. |
I am so sorry. I am currently fighting breast cancer. Did your sister just find out she has cancer or has she been fighting a long time? My mom has breast cancer and she has been dealing with it off and on for 14 years. I wish you peace OP, and my thoughts are with your sister. |
My dad had an upset stomach and went to the doctor to get some medicine before his trip to Greece. Found out he had matastisized melanoma. Doc gave him 9-12 months. Stopped keeping down food within a week and died in 4 weeks. Had barely started chemo. It was so sad, he didn't deserve that and should at least have gotten to go in his trip. RIP, cancer sucks. |
I am so sorry OP. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and am trying to be optimistic but I know the realities. |
I am so sorry. Much peace to you and your family. |
18:01: It is all about staging. Stage one (localized) cancer is often curable. The problem is stage 1 often shows no symptoms. My kidney cancer had no symptoms until a cough....from mets in the lungs. |
My mother was just diagnosed with Stage 4 that has ravaged her body! Cancer definitely sucks!!!! |
So sorry, OP! I agree that it sucks! I had cancer, and my mom died from it. SIL and two aunts have had it, too. |
18:01 here. Thanks. I am stage 1. I had no symptoms but it was picked up on a mammogram. |
I'm so sorry for this happening to your family, OP. Cancer has gotten our family, too.
Vent away, my friend! It helps. Peace be with you. |
