| There is a cute ice cream shop close to us that will do birthday parties and close the store for 2 hours. Would this be good for 3 year olds or would they get too antsy? |
| What would the schedule be fore 2 hours? That's too much time to just make and eat a sundae. If they're doing something else to keep their attention, it could be fun. |
| I think we'd do pizza, then a game (they said they can do pin the cherry on the sundae) and then make your own sundae. It's not the biggest place. My son would love it but I'm trying to think if it will be entertaining enough for a group of 3 year olds. |
| 2 hours is way too long for that. Maybe 1 hour. |

Could you get someone to provide some entertainment.
An ice cream themed craft? Know anyone who plays the guitar? Simple coloring page? https://www.etsy.com/shop/funandsimplefelt?page=2 This would be an awesome home party idea too. Best, Lisa 202-538-2449 lisa@dcmamaconcierge.com |
| Perfect for an hour. No need for two. |

No, don't do it not for 3 year olds. They need more activity than that. I think a gym type place or bouncy house is great for that age.
They will start running around the tables in a wild circle. My dd's 4 year old party we did at a nature center, we did fossil hunt outside, then a playdoh craft, pizza and cake, and still there were about 15 minutes at the end, where the kids were running in a circle while the parents were chasing them and telling them to stop. That part was not fun. |
+1 3 year olds need/want to let off energy more than eat |
| Thanks all ! That's what I needed to know! |
