Would you let your child wear this to school? How about not to school but just to trick or treat?

Umm, NO.

Oh my god, that made me LOL.

Depends on the age of the kid.

I hope my children do not pass that on the street. Jesus.

that's pretty over the top and gruesome for any age.

on the other hand, i remember a lot of "bloody-cheerleader" type costumes growing up - i think they were zombie-apocalypse-type/bitten by vampire type costumes, so maybe its because i'm now an old lady of 36 with 2 toddlers...

I thought this was going to be about the injustice of portraying a doctor as a ghoulish costume.

Wow. I can't imagine putting my child in that but am chuckling at it. I actually like Walmart but when they do crap like this it's no wonder they have image issues.

That's worse than the girls one that was pulled from the shelves!!!

My kids are 6 and 9, so no. Maybe if they were older.

LOL though.

I don't see how this is controversial, since I think everyone agrees that it's pretty bad.

I love it! Wearing it to school may be too much, but fright and gore is what Halloween is about Fine for trick or treating. I'd probably give an extra handful of candy if a kid like this showed up to my door!

This would never be allowed at school with all the blood, but there are tons of bloody/gory costumes aimed at kids. Why is this one making the news?

Are people thinking of Gosnell? That's the only "controversial" thing I can think of.

The girls' "naughty kitten" (or leopard, or whatever) was fine as a costume, but the name of it was what caused the stir (rightfully so!)

I think it's hilarious!

At 6 no, at 12 sure why not.

Our elementary school only allows cheery Carebear costumes anyway. It's a cool costume, but not for younger kids at all.

Older child and a party, sure. Younger kid or where a younger child is present, no way.
