DH, DC, DW whats next DP? SO SILLY!

OK first please correct me if I am wrong does the "D" stand for darling? If so now I can say gag me with a spoon, who came up with this ridiculous notion? SO SILLY. I find it funny when people are referencing divorcing their husband or wife or blasting their kid for having a party and refer to them at "DH" or "DW"...I am sorry I find the concept for lack of a better word just stupid.

The "D" could also refer to "dear", "dumb", "damned"

LOL. I haven't heard that expression in over 30 years. How old are you, OP?

Anyway, if you don't want to put a D in front, then don't. Welcome to the internet.

OP, this is not a DCUM-specific thing. It's used everywhere on the internet. Welcome to the 21st century.
