PP, I have heard different things about Mirena. I am on Yaz now...you think it is worth switching?

Mirena lover here:

At some point, you will age out of birth control pills and will need to make a switch. There are fewer hormones with the mirena. On the other hand, if you are happy, why change?

The friggin thing is 33 bucks-I tried the Dixie Cup and it worked just as well for about 7 cents a throw-keep in mind I've had six children so fit was not a problem.

I bought my Diva Cup online and paid around 20.00 including shipping. With the cost of tampons and panty liners its easily paid for itself. My friend has had hers for about three years! The insertion is a breeze and for some reason its lessened the pain of cramping. I wouldn't recommend sticking a Dixie Cup up your va jay jay no matter how many you've managed to pop out.
