Opinions on Spanish immersion daycare in Bethesda/Chevy Chase

Hi, I have started a new day care in Bethesda/Chevy Chase. Several moms have asked me to think about offering an all day spanish immersion program for 2-5 year olds. I am from Peru but also fluent in English (went to college at American and Hopkins).
Learning a second language is so easy at age 2, 3, 4 but I realize its also easy for kids to lose it without regular practice. The language programs I've seen in the area are mostly 1 and 2 hours a week which is rather limited. What I would do is provide a full day program, maybe 1 day a week or even full time. I would appreciate any feedback other moms have on whether a Spanish immersion day care would be worth looking at. Thanks. Patricia |

| www.ChevyChaseReggio.com. We incorporate Spanish but it is not an immersion program yet. Just wondering if that would be worth offering. Maybe I could do one full day of immersion at least, 1 hour a week doesn't seem like it would do very much. |
