The Bethesda Montessori School (corner of Arlington and Wilson) might have openings. DC1 went there and I have enrolled DC2 for the Fall. We are happy with it.
Directly opposite (on Wilson) there is a church co-op nursery school, with shaded playground (very important!). |
Hi there! Whole Kids Academy is a new language immersion preschool in Bethesda conveniently located on Old Georgetown Road between 495 and NIH. We are now enrolling children ages 2-5 for our September opening. If you would like to find out more please visit us at http://wholekidsacademy.com or give us a call at (240) 343-4952. Thanks!
Bethesda Reggio has a couple of spots in its preschool class for 3's this fall. We are located off East-West Highway between Connecticut and Wisconsin Avenues near B-CC High School. To schedule a visit, email us at Contact@BethesdaReggio.com or call 301-310-8008.
If you are considering a preschool + daycare setting, I would also add Rock Spring Children's Center to your list. Pricey but so worth it! And I know that a few of my daughter's classmates in the 3-year-old classroom are leaving at the end of August.
If you are open to coops then Bannockburn Nursery has space in its 5 day 3 year old class. It's a lovely school.
Bethesda Country Day has been great for us. They offer multiple flexible schedules and provide breakfast and lunch. Very warm environment.
If you're closer to the River Road/Mass side of Bethesda, Petals Child Care. The three year old class teacher is THE BEST. They have a 5 day and 3 day option + you can do before and after care there if you need it.
Thanks, everyone. I started making some inquiries and will follow up on some other ones listed here too.
