Bobo is what we call my idiot brother-in-law... |
Bobo is old-school slang for generic or off-brand, to me.
DH and I still use it occasionally tongue-in-cheek. |
Bobo also means idiot or fool in Spanish. What nationality is the daycare teacher? |
For the PP with the Puerto Rican husband. Bobo means dummy or fool not mute in Spanish, so it has nothing to do with the pacifier hindering speech but with pacifiers, I assume, dumbing kids. Not a particularly nice was of putting it IMHO. Pacifier is nicer... |
Haha we grew up calling your bottom a bobo. I'm not sure where it started but everyone on my dad's side says it.
I think it's adorable, my kids say it too. I've seen a few old cartoons call it that too. |
FTR, they can. |
It's cool Daddio, bussin', no cap.
Let them have their slang. Stop creating drama. |
Same! But i now also think of Bobo Choses brand. |
You're weird to get so fixated on one word, OP. |
You know what dumb means, right? And why pacis are sometimes called dummies? |
Tell your child that you don't use that word at home.

|
Dummy / dumb and mute are mostly synonymous. They both mean someone who doesn't speak. |
Lol BUMBO |
Bobo is ethnic slang for a pacifier or hair plastic ties, she’s using it incorrectly. I would also tell them to please use proper body part names as this helps children with boundaries and god forbid incident reports in the future. |
