I bought the multipack expecting to use the OPKs and tried one of the pregnancy tests first just for funsies. Two lines.

OP here- We were going to start trying this month. I thought we'd missed the window last month due to work travel, etc., during prime time but I guess we didn't. I had some bleeding last weekend which I thought was my period but apparently it wasn't.

| Your bleeding may have been implantation bleeding. If you got two lines, it is likely you are pregnant - congrats! I bought super cheap pregnancy tests on Amazon, and they were quite reliable. |

| Sounds like a positive to me - congrats! This isn't great advice, but I would run out and by some more expensive brand name tests at the drugstore. I had to pee on a few before I really believed it myself. Congrats! |

Congrats! We used them at first, then I got both a First Respons and a clear blue digital. FRERs are mostly recommended for their accuracy and I got clear blue because they require more hcg to show positive...and seeing 'pregnant' is pretty awesome.

False positives are pretty rare if you're not taking hormones. Sounds like you ovulated late, had implantation bleeding, and you're pregnant! That's exactly how I now find myself 33 weeks pregnant with #3.
I'd even bought the OPK too, since I'd used them for the last two. Congrats, and I love the digital tests if you want to do another for confirmation. |

Thanks everybody. I'll wait till next week and get a digital just to confirm. If I ovulated late but not sure when, whats the best way to figure out the due date? Do I have to wait for an ultrasound?

| Wondfo worked for.me! 10 dpo I got " think I'm imagining a line" . Day 11 was when both dh and I thought there was a line. Digi confirmed same day. Congrats! |

Yeah, I had 8 months of pristine white where that second line should be until one month..... two lines.
Congrats mama! Wondfo's are pretty accurate. Do you chart or do you have any idea when you had el sexo? This would be useful. If you are SURE you didn't have sex during ov dates (or right before, as those sperm can hang out for like 3/4 days, lurking that egg) then you may want to just make sure to tell your doc that you'd like to use u/s dating or even your best guess at conception rather than your last menstrual period (LMP). If you use your LMP and you actually ovulated way late, it can throw things off, make you freak out if they say baby is measuring too small (when really that baby got made a week later than they're expecting) or at the very end, they may want to induce if you're only 40 weeks or something. So the due date is not super duper critical but it can have some meaning behind it. That said, I think the dating u/s early on can be really accurate (unlike the size u/s later on!) Again, congrats! 
PS. I ovulate much later than I thought, too. First baby I was ovulating like day 14 constantly - this baby was more like day 18. |
