Did Dr. Gindoff leave GW?

I'd be very worried about having only one doctor - I don't want Dr F to "burn out" - he is a fantastic doctor, handled my freak out after ER well, and called me every day with updates on my embryos. He's easy to talk to and very interested in seeing patients do well (even if they can be conservative in many cases)

Please do post back after your monitoring. I would love to hear what's up. Thank you.

Confirmed he's gone.
I asked the nurse in the ultrasound room, she said they were SHOCKED. They were told he'd be on leave, then last Thursday were told he wasn't returning. They don't know why, all she said was she hoped everything was OK with him.
She said they are looking for a new doctor - a new on is supposed to start later this spring, but they need someone before that.

We did one cycle with Dr. Gindoff about ten years ago. Back then, he was kind of pushy. I had the impression that he cared more about the business, though.

Wow! I am TOTALLY shocked too. I am tahe PP who said I was just in there this Fall for a series of FETs and Dr. Gindoff was so so kind to me. JinDC, if you find our more during your subsequent visits (as to where he went, why he left, etc.) please continue to update us! I really am very very shocked. Thanks for updating us.

The nurse had no idea - I'd imagine if he goes elsewhere, the internet would say, right? Maybe he just retired? The nurses really didn't know.
We liked him, too - esp my DH.

Madeline? The one who looks African-American but has kind of some type of accent? Who sort of seems quiet and gruff -- sometimes she takes blood too -- but is actually really nice once you get to know her?

Or the other African-American one, who is usually in the ultrasound room with the ultrasound tech, who I think is doing Boot Camp and is really chatty, and is active in her church and volunteer groups?

PS (Sorry, these are just the things they have chatted with me about. I am sure these are not true, full rounded-out depictions of their complete personalities.)

The other one - is her name Mia? She's SO sweet. She gave my DH and me a huge hug today after our ultrasound. She's like a mom, and really explains things to you in the ultrasound and also remembers you.

Oh, ok, I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about. Yes, she is totally warm and personal and caring!

On another note, best of luck to you!

OMG. Just saw this thread and I am in shock!
Dr. G was my doctor and we had a success.
I was hoping to return to try for the sibling if possible.
Hopefully, GW finds a new doctor soon.

GW needs at least two new doctors.

I'm just glad Melissa is gone. Useless, brainless.

I don't get these comments. What in the world could she have done to you?

It's the infertility patients that are crazy stupid or brainless. You all should take a long hard look at yourselves....

Mia is fantastic. As is Greg - who does the ultrasound. And of course my beloved Catherine. Dr. G was my dcotor for the last 6 months of 2012. I recently switched clinics however to Shady Grove this January to do IVF there and kept second guessing my decision and was just in contact with Dr. G by email three weeks ago and planned to come in and talk to him. He was nice and knowledgeable.
