Am I out?

Sending prayers that yours is just a slow started and a success story. I'm sorry you didn't get a more reassuring number.

OP - your number is just a little lower than another poster on here whose betas have continued to rise despite having a low first beta. Hang in there and good luck!

OP: Right now you are pregnant. Don't give up yet. The numbers can go up very fast.

Thanks all. I am trying to keep my chin up but walking up each day with less and less swollen breasts and more spotting is making me feel like it's time to face the music.

I have decided, no more googling of success or failure stories. I'll find out more tomorrow.

And I know that I'll be lucky if we find out its not ectopic.

Now I just want to know why. Our embryos all looked good so I'm wondering if it's time to look into the immune issue idea (I do have low thyroid function and likely a wheat issue) or if just trying again with a FET is the right call.

These are hard days but I know almost all of you here have had hard days too so I'm trying to keep it in perspective.

I spotted before my first beta and it was 228. And now I'm almost 14 weeks!

It doesn't help for me to say "relax", but you aren't alone and everyone - even successful IVFers - have been there. The uncertainty, the waiting.

I've said it before, I'd LOVE to be back at "the hardest part is all these shots!". That was total innocense vs. this uncertainty/waiting. You aren't alone and you've done all you can. If this one isn't meant to be, another hopefully will be soon. But I'm staying hopeful for you.

PP - um yeah, the shots are the easy part.

Just to close out the thread, my beta was 13 today so I stopped meds and have to ride out the rest.

After 5 failed clomid and 3 failed IUI cycles (one canceled) seeing that positive was such a sweet feeling and I'm just so afraid we won't see it again. But we have some frozen embryos and will keep trying. I just worry it wasn't the embryo but something about me that caused the loss.

Best wishes to you, OP. This stuff is just so hard. You are not alone.

So sorry OP. I had high hopes for you especially since another poster had a super low first beta - not too much higher than yours. Hang in there. Hopefully your next beta will go to 0 and you can start again right away.

Yes, subchorionic bleed causes spotting-like symptoms. I had subchorionic bleed as the cause of my mc at 9 weeks, I am sorry to say.

Doesn't always end in miscarriage. I spotted and bled my whole first trimester with one. Scary as hell but I went full term and delivered a healthy baby.
