I did. Was 34, male Fertile issues. Now have twins.... |
We were also successful with our first IVF with ICSI. We also had male factor. I was just shy of 32 at the time of the procedure. (and spent my birthday vomiting joyously in a restaurant bathroom) |
It wasn't a big deal at all. The worst part is the waiting. The actual procedure is so quick, and if say getting the IV hurt more. Good luck! |
Yep. Currently 13 weeks preg w twins after first time IVF + ICSI at SGFC. 34, male factor. Even after only having 2 'fair' blastocysts left at day 5. |
So it sounds like most of those with first time success had a male factor diagnosis? I guess that makes sense.
Any unexplained first time success? |
First time success - 37 with male factor, now I have twins.
male factor is VERY VERY correctable with IVF. And male factor has the highest sucess rate. Because they can cull the herd (so to speak) and if you use ICSI then you can control and raise fertilization rates. I tell my friends that if you are going to have an infertility diagnosis you want male factor. |
Thanks op for starting this thread....keeping me in a positive mindset! GL op and report back! |
