Do you ever pee in the shower?

Anonymous
Ew, no! I never have and never will.
Anonymous
Yes. I physically can't NOT.
Anonymous
All the time.
Anonymous
Yes, but I make sure I'm standing right over the drain.

ewww. no. I once shared a hotel room at the beach with a girl who admitted that she peed in the shower all the time - and had earlier that day, before i'd showered.

i didn't share a hotel room with her again. so, so gross. the toilet is right next to the shower, people! (if you're trying to save water, flush every second time you pee.)
Anonymous
yup.

what really makes it so gross?

Me too. Like the OP, even though I go right before getting in, I always have to go at some point while still in the shower.

Apparently everyone I know does this but me?! The topic came up at a family dinner a couple weeks ago and I was the only person who thought this was appalling. Maybe I was adopted and they were all raised by farm animals.

My husband told our three year old she could do this. Last week, she was in the shower and we literally had this conversation:

DD: Mama, can you move your foot off the drain.
Me: Are you going peepee?
DD: Yes
Me: thanks for warning me!
DD: really, because yesterday I didn't say anything

It's not at all about wanting to save water. But the combination of warm water hitting me + the sound a shower makes just makes me HAVE to pee.
