Environmental choices for parenting essentials

Hi all - as you go out and choose tissues and paper towels and whatnot for the beginning of school, I'd like to urge you to think a little "green." Seventh Generation is a good choice, but at the very least, try to avoid Kimberly Clark products (like Kleenex, Scott, Viva, and Huggies), as they are the worst of the worst. Here's a parody of the Wall*E/Kleenex marketing arrangement:

No, I'm not a marketing rep for Seventh Generation. I thought it was important for other moms and dads to know what was going on with Kleenex. I was surprised when I found out. And I have been a member of DC Urban Moms for about 5 years now. I have a 10 year old, a 3 year old and a 1 year old.
