Moving from NY - daycare center for our 2-year old?

We are moving to the DC area next month and I am looking for daycare center recommendations for our 2-year old. Anyone have a place they love?

| I think people are going to need more specific information to give you any useful recommendations. Where will you live (MD, DC, VA--and about where within those areas)? Where will you work (if you would prefer day care close to work)? |

You can try The Family Academy of Bethesda! Its great facility with warm and loving Staff!
Had my 2 children before. Both of them been at FAB from Infant to 5 y.o. |

People have had different experiences...good or bad! Its more important how your child will react and learn!
Children at FAB are very happy and well taken care of! But frommy experience and what the other parents who said good things abot FAB, I truly agree! It is one of the BEST! I also have 2 children, from Infant to Preprimary. Curriculum is very good.They follow Montgomery County as well as Montessori. It is rare to find a Childcare with Licensed for Kindergarten and have Montessori! |

| Ive been with FAB for 4 years! My child grew up very well! Teachers at 2 y.o classroom were EXCELLENT!Love the openness of the Teacher.They will tell you everything about your child.... good or bad!and which is good for me! The only bad experience I had when my child was 2 y.o, she didint want to go home with me! and that means she loves theplace and her teachers! |

If they are not a licensed Montessori, chances are your child will not fully benefit from the Montessori method of education. If it is a daycare you are looking for, then this is the place for your child. |

| We almost put our child in Family Academy in the fall but chose a different center in Bethesda partly because of the questionable posts on here. If you do a search, it's clear based on spelling/grammatical errors that the same person posts repeatedly. It's likely an employee because the posts are so suspicious. |

I get the same feeling. Especially since many of the posts are within minutes of each other. |

If you'll be anywhere near Dunn Loring/Merrifield/North Annandale, my daycare is advertising toddler openings. My daughter's in the infant room so I can't speak for their toddler programs, but I have friends with kids in the 2's and 3's rooms and they are happy with it.
