Here is an interesting article about getting more (metaphorical) bang for our bucks:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/10/opinion/10kristof.html?hp It has probably been said (and surely implied) by many others that we overspend on military vs diplomacy, but I think Kristof does a good job of making the cost comparisons concrete (say it aloud: Kristof's concrete cost comparisons). I'd like to hear McCain and Obama discuss this. |
