Endocrinologist recommendations?

| I have a thyroid condition that seems to have been exacerbated by pregnancy and need to see an endocrinologist. Any recommendations in DC or close-in MD/VA suburbs? Ideally, I'd like to find someone who takes BC/BS PPO insurance. Thanks in advance! |

| I see Dr. Crantz in Tysons Corner (not really close to the city). He is a preferred provided with BCBS. There are two other endos in the practice. I had to increase my Synthroid dose while pregant, but all returned to normal about 2 months post-preg. |

| I see Dr. Dvorak in Arlington (office is in the Virginia Hospital Center complex). I know he takes Aetna, not sure what else. |

| dr tanen in Mclean by Tysons is AMAZING. I had pititary tumor a couple years ago nd see him regularly. |

| I second the recommendation for Dr. Tanen in McLean. Both my husband and I have seen him for various issues, including my thyroid problems during pregnancy. He is in the same practice as Dr. Crantz and accepts BCBS. |
