Where can I get an Abortion?

You're posting this in a PARENTING forum (off topic granted, but still)?!? If you are in trouble I wish you well, but I really hope you're a troll.

I can't believe some of you are falling for this. Dorks.

Greenbelt Rd in Greenbelt. There is no name posted on the building but it has white siding and about three protesters out front.

If you want to provide an answer to the OP, then please provide an answer. If you do not want to provide an answer to the OP, then please move along to another thread. There is really nothing more irritating then a thread filled with posters calling the OP a troll. If you think the poster is a troll, then ignore the thread.

How dare you call me a troll. I'm a mother and a wife. I'm nOt playing a game here. I have a two yr old, an amazing, beautiful, intelligent 2 yr old. Why would I joke/ troll about abortion. Yes I go to a catholic practice. It's called the Georgetown university Hospital. My ob-gyn is Dr M wulf guierterzz. ( I know I got the spelling wrong) . After my baby was born I asked about inserting the loop and she told me it was a Catholic

Sorry I submitted to soon. Anyway she told me it was a Catholic hospital and they doNt do that. Now granted I didn't ask about abortion but I assumed after what she told me they didn't do this. So I turned to Dcum for help. I don't understand why people would accuse me of being a troll.

OP, there are at least 2 clinics in VA that I know of, and have been to in person. Both are fine. One is in Falls Church, one in Fairfax. Both offer multiple services, including abortion.

Google them, I actually can't recall the names--but that's how I found them. Try abortion provider, VA and women's health or something like that. Call them--they'll help you, no judgment or questions.

Good Luck, it's not easy.

Personally, I'd just go to Planned Parenthood. If you're worried about protesters, it's not as bad during the week as the weekend (I work close to one).

Otherwise, google provides these as top DC results:

Best!

Thank you both PP. I will do more research. And yes it is the protesters I am concerned about in regard to PP.

I know you said you have no choice but I would encourage you to look around and see if this is really true. You can talk to someone about it on the Option line, no pressure, 800-395-4357 or http://www.optionline.org/ then make your choice.

Neither of the VA ones are well known, or have protesters (that I've ever seen). Both are in mixed use (medical offices and other) buildings. You'll be ok. Protester seem to concentrate on Planned Parenthood, and in DC.

DO NOT call them--they withhold medical info, and are a well-known anti-abortion organization.

I don't understand. Withhold your medical info from who? Why would you need to give them your medical info or a name. Obviously, this is one of those religiously funded, "here are your options, but not abortion hotline."

OP, I would suggest contacting Planned Parenthood. As most of us know by now, abortion is not all they do, but they will either a) perform an abortion for you or b) refer you to a reputable place that can perform your abortion.

If you end up going to PP and encounter protesters, remember that PP offers all kinds of services. If they approach you can always say you're there for pre-natal care. That will get them off your back.

And remember that your situation is uniquely yours and you need to make this decision based on your situation and what is best for you and your family. No one else can tell you what that decision should be.
