NoVA or DC ENT rec

Anonymous
We currently take my 2-year-old son to Otolaryngology Associates, PC in Fairfax (we live in Old Town Alexandria, so it is a bit of a hike). He's already had tubes that fell out, has not had an earache for a year, can hear what we say to him, and speaks better than average for his age. They have recommended two additional surgeries because his ears still have fluid, and I just want a second opinion before agreeing to this, because there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

ENT Specialists of Northern Virginia are good - we used Dr. Oppenheim. They have 4 locations in the area, and we were able to get an appointment within a week or so. I know a lot of people rave about Dr. Bahadori - and I'm sure he's amazing - but our little guy was having so many infections that we couldn't wait the 6 weeks for the appointment.

We live a mile from VHC but deal with Georgetown Traffic to see Dr. Milmoe for DD. He is wonderful. Dr. Terlip is a great audiologist if you need one of those as well, and she's also with Georgetown.
