What anti-aging line is worth the price?

Anonymous
I use Olay/Loreal anti-aging skin care from the drugstore; works reasonably well. I love Dior makeup and recently the salesperson tried to talk me into Capture Totale and L'or de Vie skin lines - but I got total sticker shock ($350 for a day cream and another $350 for a night cream!)

I wouldn't mind spending more on my skin to keep it looking young if the investment was worth it. Right now I am spending about $100 every 3 months or so and can see going up to $300 ever 2-3 months for something that realy works. Any reccomendations?

I use a cleanser, eye cream, day cream, and night cream currently. Most interested in imporiving skin firmness and texture.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I've seen noticeable results with Nivea Skin Firming Moisturizer with Q-10. It's only $10-$12 a bottle and I use it on both body and face. I also reversed some lines with plain old honey. I leave it on for about a half hour (face, neck, chest) before rinsing it off and then I apply the Nivea. I do the honey 2-3x a week, and the Nivea every night.

I also take in lots of Vitamin C and fish oil.

so you use the body lotion for you face, correct? Or is there a face lotion I am not seeing when I searched?

Do you bandage the honey in any way, or do you just put it on your skin & leave it exposed to the air?

I do put the body lotion on my face. I couldn't find a face cream with the q-10 in it. I was using Garnier anti-wrinkle cream, but I didn't see any difference with it. Although, there are probably better ones out there that I haven't tried. I read a lot of good reviews about the Nivea though, so that's what prompted me to try it.

For the honey, I just let it air dry.

I'm not really sure what it is, but it says it's a co-enzyme. It says proven to firm in as little as 2 weeks. It's been one week and the scaly skin on my shins looks nice and soft now : )

oh and I massage it in really good, and with the honey I apply it in an upward movement. (I got that one from my grandmother). I just started it doing this last month and was pleasantly surprised with under the eyes, cheeks, around the mouth and chest skin.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the improvement, but I've been drinking coconut water lately too.

MD Forte and their Revale Line. They are the only products I've ever used where I could really see the difference.
