Would love to hear how the 2s program is. Thanks. |
A 2 or 3 year old child was left at a playground not on site for over a half hour. No teacher noticed she was gone. This happened within the past year, so I would do a search.
Believe they made lots of efforts to improve their practices, but this story made me kinda sick to my stomach with fear. |
I would contact Sarah or Alex, the director and assistant director, and they could arrange a tour pretty much any time, plus give you reference(s) for parents to talk to you unofficially. It sounds from the details provided by the PP that she doesn't have first hand knowledge of the incident last year when the kid got left behind at Stead Park. |
I have first hand knowledge. And even with the changes, I would not send my children there anymore. |
OP here. I read the thread on the lost child, which was pretty scary. But I am interested to hear from current parents as well. I do not like my current day care situation, so would like to see if this would be an improvement. |
everyone I know who sent their kids there loved it - for me the stead park story plus the fact that all the teachers are so young gave me pause. But I think most ppl there are happy. |
